Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are 18 or older and able to form a binding contract.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to recreate videos: it takes a source clip (one of our templates, or a clip you upload) and photos you provide, and generates a new video with the original motion and sound. Results are generated automatically and may vary in quality, likeness, and accuracy.

• "User Content" means the photos, videos, text, and other materials you upload or submit.
• You retain ownership of your User Content.
• You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit to our AI providers, and modify your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including generating your requested videos and running safety checks). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for residual backup copies and content we must retain for legal reasons.
• Free videos: videos you make with free credits are shown publicly in our Community feed. For those videos, you also grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them in the Community feed and as examples on our website, and to let other users make their own version of the same template. This license ends when you remove the video from the Community feed or delete it, except for copies others have already saved.

3.1 Your responsibilities for uploads

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have all necessary rights to the photos, videos, and other content you upload;
• If you upload a photo containing another person, you have that person's consent to use their image in the Service. You will not upload images of any person without their permission, and you will not upload images of minors;
• Your User Content does not infringe any third party's intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights, and does not violate any law.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and for obtaining any consents required.

3.2 Source clips and templates

Templates and clips you upload often come from viral videos made by other people, and may include their footage, choreography, or music. Videos you make with them can contain that third-party material. You are responsible for how you use and share your videos, including getting any permission needed for commercial use. Social platforms may mute or remove videos that use copyrighted music.

• Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we assign to you such rights as we hold in the specific videos the Service generates for you. Third parties may still hold rights in material from the source clip (see Section 3.2).
• AI output is provided "as is." It may contain inaccuracies or artifacts and may not resemble the people in your photos as you expect. We make no guarantee about the likeness, accuracy, or quality of generated videos.
• Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users from similar inputs; we make no exclusivity guarantee over templates or common results.
• Generated videos are AI-generated. You will not present them as real footage of real events, or as made without AI. Videos made with free credits carry a visible watermark, which you will not remove.

You agree not to use the Service to create, upload, or share content that:

• Depicts or sexualizes minors in any way;
• Uses another real person's likeness without consent, or creates misleading, intimate, or defamatory depictions of real people;
• Is sexual, violent, hateful, harassing, or promotes illegal activity;
• Infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights;
• Impersonates others or is intended to deceive, defraud, or spread misinformation.

You also agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent the Service, its usage limits, or its safeguards, including creating multiple accounts to collect free credits;
• Use the Service or its outputs to train, fine-tune, or build other AI models.

We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these rules. Anyone can report a video; reports are reviewed and may be actioned.

6.1 Credits

The Service uses credits to make videos. Credits have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are non-transferable. The credit cost of each video is shown before you generate it, and prices may change for future videos.

6.2 Free credits

New accounts may receive free credits, as described on our pricing page. Free credits are limited to one grant per person, are valid for 30 days, can be used only for the options shown as free, and the videos made with them are watermarked and public (see Section 3). We may change or end the free-credit offer at any time.

6.3 Credit packs

Credit packs are one-time purchases, processed by Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Paid credits expire 12 months after purchase.

6.4 Refunds

• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
• If a generation fails, or your video comes out shorter than the credits held for it, the unused credits are returned to your balance automatically.
• If you are in the EU or UK: when you buy a pack, you ask us to make the credits available immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right to withdraw from the purchase once they are delivered.

6.5 Inactive accounts

If you don't use your account for 90 days, we delete your uploaded photos, source clips, and generated videos after emailing you in advance (see our Privacy Policy). Your account and any unexpired paid credits remain.

The Service, including its software, design, templates, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content and your generated videos), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly allowed.

If you believe a video on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@genjutsugenerator.com with: your contact details, the work you own, a link to the video, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized and that your notice is accurate. We remove content that infringes, and we may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

The Service relies on third-party providers (including AI, hosting, payment, and analytics providers described in our Privacy Policy). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of payment services is also subject to their terms.

THE SERVICE AND ALL GENERATED OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty regarding the accuracy, quality, or likeness of generated videos. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, we and our affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right, including any claim that a photo or video you uploaded was used without the necessary consent or rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. If we terminate your account for a serious violation, unused credits are forfeited. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@genjutsugenerator.com so we can try to resolve it directly. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where required, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
